On Thursday the 14th of September, we had a Haka Waiata challenge, where every whanau competed by performing a Haka and a Waiata. All Whanaus were being judged based on creativity, female lead, male lead, tone and much more, by the students of Aorere College.Luckily we (Hotorua), came first in the challenge but I believe every other whanau did great.
